Disney is always making updates in its theme parks, and it isn't making any exceptions with its new fireworks show.

The theme park announced that its new "Happily Ever After" fireworks show, premiering May 12, will feature the most advanced projection mapping technology the company has ever used.

Disney has been using projection mapping on the Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom ever since 2010. Because of continued success there, the park has expanded projection mapping not only to other Walt Disney World parks like Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but also to its other locations around the world.

"Happily Ever After" also stands out because of the new hand-drawn animation it will feature, as well as a new original score and the latest advancements in fireworks, lasers and pyrotechnics.

Disney previously announced that the show will incorporate characters from Brave, Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog and Moana, as well as characters from older classic films like Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

The show will also feature a new theme song starring Hamilton cast member Jordan Fisher and country music artist Angie Keilhauer.

"Happily Ever After" will replace "Wishes" which will leave the park on May 11.
