Bite 2016: International Food Club

by

If five-gallon buckets of olives from all over the world get you a little hot and bothered, International Food Club is the place you'll wanna buy all the foods. A vast warehouse on L.B. McLeod, the market (it's not a club and you don't need a membership to shop there, no matter what the moniker suggests) represents more than 20 countries.

It can be a little — OK, a lot — overwhelming, but start perusing the aisles and we're pretty sure you'll end up with at least one bottle of Trini scotch-bonnet hot sauce, some Russian pickles and a bottle of ghee just to start with. Find wines from both the Old and New Worlds, and pick up dinner from the Club Cafe and Bakery, where global combo meals are always on the menu. Take a walk through the aisles on their website — there's an interactive virtual tour so you can scope out the place before you do your delicious damage. Open daily.
