What happens after "Graduation Day"? More citric chirpiness, apparently, as the oddly named Vitamin C attempts to follow up her post-cred (she used to be a she-rocker in alt-rock act Eve's Plum) high-school hit with a little bit of frisky innuendo. For the most part, it's harmless flirtation.
Album opener "The Itch" is a playful ditty that itsy-bitsies its way through a mildly amusing insect-sounding arrangement and waxes some girl philosophy about having "that" itch again. "Sex Has Come Between Us" kicks a little deeper, acknowledging how things change after that first, icky consummation. Forgivable, maybe, until C unearths the new-wave gem "I Know What Boys Like" for a by-the-numbers drag through her Cathy Dennis, hand-me-down flippery. Cathy who? Exactly.
