Though Billy Milano -- he of the legendary Stormtroopers of Death, the best metal band to ever sing about milk -- would like to make you think that "The Rebel" is a tongue-in-cheek assault on lame heavy metal (the Michael Schenker reference of the cover art is priceless), it's sad to say that his ongoing feud with Anthrax is much more amusing than any of the tracks here. He pokes fun at various nü-metal mutations ("Rage Against the Mac Machine," "Wigga") while elevating his own status (the title track). But ultimately, the music is clich? and Milano's posturing is as tired as the mooks he mocks.
