Joe Lieberman (and Cynthia McKinney) lost their Democratic primaries. Lieberman, per usual, went on to whine: "The old politics of partisan polarization won today. For the sake of our state, our country and my party, I cannot, I will not let this result stand." Hey Joe, your party doesn't want you any more. Now get out of the way. George Bush has enough people kissing his ass in DC as it is.
Tom DeLay has pretty much handed his seat to the Democrats. Good riddance, fuckwad.
Speaking of Republicans, since the media is going to be all hyped today on the liberal netrooters who allegedly hijacked the Dem Party and showed Lieberman the door, check this story out. A moderate Michigan congressman - moderate in that he doesn't hate gay people enough - lost his GOP primary to a fire-breather.
What the Orlando Sentinel's editorial board is wasting ink on today: Drugs are bad, mmmkay.
