This is too cute to pass up.
In DeLand resides the Carousel Workshop (www.carouselworkshop.com), where owner/artist Marsha Schloesser makes wonderful inanimate equines to be impaled and placed under surreal rotating tents and ridden by children to creepy music until eventually the children understand the absurd futility of existence: everything they love is a prop taking them in circles.
Well, Marsha took a clever pun just too far (see the below picture, stare until you get it). And now the Singapore Jockey Club has requested 10 of them. She is, according to the press release, "the ONLY artist in the US to be commissioned to design and produce these eye catchers for a foreign country." (Emphasis added)
This is actually the second time the country of Singapore has asked for these. (Foot fetish much?) They're being shipped out today. Feel free to check out her shop and see if she has anything for you, maybe something in a pump.
