Are you ready for the International Noise Conference?

It's getting to be that time of year, when Florida is awash in noise of varying violence and beauty ... yup, it's almost time for the International Noise Conference. Florida's iteration of the Conference is again taking place in Miami at Churchill's, with the dates set as February 10-12. And, as usual, the Conference follows the best set of rules ever established for a music festival:

  • Free show.
  • Artists perform sets that are no more than 15 minutes long.
  • No droning.
  • No laptops.

Also as usual: there are several "pre-INC" and "post-INC" shows around the state, including a Valentine's Day blowout at Uncle Lou's, curated by Dan Reaves (aka Trotsky):

Post INC shows:

  • 13 FEB - TAMPA
  • 14 FEB - ORLANDO  @ Uncle Lou's

The lineup in Miami is, as usual, as impressive as it is inscrutable, featuring known quantities such as Cock E.S.P., Otto Von ShirachTemple of Bon Matin, and Dino Felipe, local heroes like What's Yr Damage and SSLOT, as well as dozens of noise-merchants you may have never heard of at all. Here's the full rundown for who's playing at Churchill's (we'll let you know the Orlando lineup as soon as we find out):
