As Bao Le-Huu reported in Beatdown a couple of weeks ago, Back to Nature, Central Florida's largest wildlife refuge, has been struggling to keep its doors open due to lack of donations. The local music community jumped to and started planning an event to raise money for the refuge, which has housed and rehabbed sick and injured animals in Orlando for the past 22 years. That event, the Critter Crawl, takes place across three venues this Sunday: 16 bands will play The Peacock Room, Will's Pub and Lou's Lounge, and it'll only cost you $10 to get in. Proceeds, naturally, will be donated to Back to Nature. For a complete line up, go here. If you can't make the show, you can still donate to help keep Back to Nature in business. They even take PayPal.
