Sunday, July 17Southern Fried Sunday

As if the above isn’t enough ass-kicking for one day, Mills Avenue will be blowing up around the same time for the annual Southern Fried Sunday Mustard Seed benefit party featuring more than a dozen musical acts, a classic-car show, a “pin-up girl” contest, a dunk tank, food trucks, the Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls washing cars and a bonkers barbecue, all spread across three spitting-distance venues – Will’s Pub, the Peacock Room and Wally’s. Oh, and the “B-Day” part is for organizers Joseph Martens of the Hindu Cowboys and SFS’s Jessica Pawli, so be sure to buy them a drink or nine. That’s a helluva Sunday, Orlando. – Justin Strout (with Rocket 88, Have Gun Will Travel, Greenland is Melting, the Goldminers, Juno Smile, Giddy Up Go, Lauris Vidal, the Bloody Jug Band, Damion Suomi and more; 2 p.m. on Mills Avenue, between East Colonial Drive and Virginia Drive; $10 for all venues, all day; 407-898-5070; willspub.org)
