Sunday, March 25 – Raw Breakfast, Brunch & Munch
Whole Foods Market
8003 Turkey Lake Road
If your idea of a magical hangover remedy includes a Bloody Mary and a greasy spoon, this event might not be for you. Nevertheless, Chef Olive, organizer of the Central Florida Raw Food Connection (and its nearly 950 members), will whip up a brunch menu loaded with all your favorites – pancakes, granola, fruit creams and quiche. But here’s the kicker: she won’t actually cook anything. Olive is a raw food chef, and she promotes raw foodism as more of a lifestyle than a diet. She packs nearly 10 years of experience instructing cooking classes, and she throws monthly raw food potlucks in Maitland. We guarantee today’s workshop will make you look at those plain-old fruits and veggies in an entirely delicious way – pounding headache or not. – Aimee Vitek
