Greg Barris is a great comedian with a distinctly rock & roll steelo. Brooklyn-based New Beard is a great band that’s also very funny. Together, they’re bringing Heart of Darkness, Barris’ bimonthly and bicoastal music-comedy-art-media-absolution hybrid that’s attracted the likes of Reggie Watts and Janeane Garofalo, to Orlando on the event’s Summertime Forgiveness Tour. Expect stand-up and songs, yes, but also a community vibe that Barris has carefully and lovingly crafted over the years – Village Voice described it as “campfire-style” – that should fit right in at Will’s. – Justin Strout
