Friday, Sept. 14 – Mr. Pierre's Burlyesque
The Peacock Room
1321 N. Mills Ave.
The word “burlesque” derives from the Italian word burla, which means a joke, ridicule or mockery. Now, combine these three words and then add some hairy, sexy male asses into the mix and you’ll get a better picture of Michael Pierre’s Burlyesque show. Not only does this sultry revue showcase an all-male cast of both professional and amateur performers, but proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Harbor House of Central Florida, a domestic violence support group that provides shelter, counseling and legal advocacy for families. Throw in some drink specials (fuzzy navel, anyone?) and an exclusive striptease by Mr. Pierre himself, and you’ll be seeing those pasties stuck on entirely foreign (and furry!) body parts. Ouch! – Salo Steinvortz
