Beyond the sunshine, attractions and countless entertainment venues, the City Beautiful has a unique culinary community all its own. Chances are you've been dying to check out a few restaurants in the area. But with so many to choose from, who has the time (or money)?

Fret no more, because the Taste of Downtown is back Sept. 26 for its 14th year, bringing local restaurants and caterers from all over Orlando under one roof for an evening of rapid-fire taste testing.

Geared toward providing the downtown business community an opportunity to network, this year's Taste of Downtown – presented by the Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP) – will be hosting more than 20 local restaurants inside the Disney Atrium of the Amway Center.

Everything from fine dining fare to pub grub classics will be represented, and as an added bonus, the price of admission includes refreshments, courtesy of Stella Artois. If beer isn't your style, additional liquor and mixed drinks will be available for purchase.

After the success of last year's event, the DOP has added live entertainment to the mix this year, and organizers expect upwards of 400 attendees, making the networking opportunities alone worth the trip.

The list of participating restaurants is still growing as Wednesday evening approaches, but guests can expect to sample eats from venues including Cityfish, Harp and Celt Irish Pub, Mojo Bar and Grill, the Boheme, Terrace 390 and the Yum Yum Cupcake Truck, just to name a few.
