Friday, Oct. 26 – The Twilight Zone: A Live Radio Play 8 p.m. through Nov. 5 Breakthrough Theatre of Winter Park 419A W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park 407-920-4034 breakthroughtheatre.com $10-$18

Imagine if you will, that you’re about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but also of mind. Now imagine that the road to this alternate world of black-and-white horror and mystery is only minutes away, off of Fairbanks Avenue to be precise. OK, so I’m no Rod Serling, but John Segers of the Breakthrough Theatre of Winter Park is bound to have better luck bringing the suspense and eeriness of the American TV classic to the stage in the studio’s production of The Twilight Zone: A Live Radio Play. Featuring four of the most memorable and spine-tingling episodes from the original series, Breakthrough’s live adaptations are sure to enthrall both hardcore fans and newbies alike. Just watch your step, or you too could find yourself making a detour into the Twilight Zone (cue the music and cigarette smoke). – Victor Ocasio
