The Big Dog Show Happy Hour features artist Dale Rogers

Saturday, Dec. 1 – The Big Dog Show Happy Hour

4-6 p.m.

Mennello Museum of American Art

900 E. Princeton St.

Canine companions of all shapes, sizes and breeds are invited to attend the Mennello Museum’s celebration of artist Dale Rogers’ newest collection of dog-inspired steel sculptures. The Big Dog Show Happy Hour promises to bring four-legged friends and their humans together for an evening of art, refreshments provided by the Spork and Puppylove cafés, and an exclusive meet-and-greet with Rogers himself. In the spirit of the season, the Mennello Museum will be accepting donations of unopened dog and cat food for the SPCA of Central Florida’s Pet Food Xpress program, a great cause sure to keep many tails a-wagging. Rogers’ outdoor exhibition of 20 8-foot-tall sculptures is on display at the museum now through March 17. – Victor Ocasio
