Girl Walk is an ambitious feature/album-length film series, a dance film set to the mash up genius of Girl Talk's All Day.
I've only watched about half of it so far, but it's a pretty crazy ride through, in and around the public spaces of New York, like Central Park and Yankee Stadium, following three dancers seemingly possessed by Greg Gillis's eclectic creation.
When I heard about the film over the summer I was dubious ("oh, more fucking hipster whim nonsense"), but it won me over pretty quickly actually. Already being in love with All Day probably didn't hurt its chances of winning me over, of course, but it's well worth the time to check out.
