The Singing Christmas Trees returns with display of 250,000 lights

Friday, Dec. 7 – The Singing Christmas Trees

various times through Dec. 16

First Baptist Church of Orlando

3000 S. John Young Parkway

Even if you’re not into the religious aspects of the season, the Singing Christmas Trees at the First Baptist Church of Orlando is a holiday event sure to delight friends and family, making December a very merry month indeed. Inspiring the name of the evening of music are two extravagantly decorated, 40-foot-tall tree-shaped pews that hold the church’s choir. Accompanied by a full orchestra, “the Trees” features dance performances, powerful drama and a light display that’s sure to put your overachieving neighbor’s decorations to shame – 250,000 lights to be exact. The Singing Christmas Trees will be presented seven times over two weekends, with multiple seating and dinner options. As one of Central Florida’s most spectacular displays of holiday spirit, hearing these trees sing is a can’t-miss experience. – Victor Ocasio
