It’s just not the end of the year without our futile attempts to navigate around closed streets as about 3,000 folks make their way through downtown Orlando riding on parade floats. The Orlando Citrus Parade, that annual tradition we’ve all come to know and love, is happening this weekend, and we couldn’t be more thrilled if we were manning one of those damn floats ourselves: fruit, football and food vendors – what’s not to love? Plus, Grand Marshal and Olympic gold medalist Justin Gatlin is joined by Trista and Ryan Sutter – the only couple to marry thanks to The Bachelorette – for this year’s syndicated broadcast. Starting at Robinson and Orange, the parade turns on Rosalind and ends on Robinson once again, right by Lake Eola. So grab a lawn chair and some O.J. (with or without champagne, your choice), and find a spot to watch the parade. Who knew citrus could be so festive? – Katherine Ramirez Massey
