Last weekend, downtown Orlando's Orange County Regional History Center debuted a new exhibit dedicated to the art of theme park design. A Year in the Life: Backstage to Onstage at Universal Orlando Resort will remain on display throughout 2013, featuring a seasonally rotating gallery of props and costumes.

I spoke with Michel Perkins, the History Center's Curator of Exhibits, at last Friday's press preview. Watch the following video interview, then read my take on the display in the latest issue of Orlando Weekly.
