Full Sail University holds free concerts to celebrate 4th annual Hall of Fame inductions




Tonight, Full Sail University will be hosting a free public concert to celebrate its 4th Annual Hall of Fame inductions of the 2012 class of Hall of Fame recipients this week. This week is a celebration of Full Sail graduates who have made an outstanding contribution in the world of media, art, and entertainment.

Celebrations for the Hall of Fame ceremony began yesterday, Feb 13, and will continue until Saturday, Feb 16. These events will include many Full Sail celebrity and industry friends, including, but not limited to:

-Bruce Swedien, a GRAMMY award-winning audio engineer and music producer

-John O’Hurley, actor and television personality (former host of Family Feud)

- Ricky Watters, former NFL super Bowl winning running back (of the San Francisco 49ers)

-John Saboor, senior VP of special Events at WWE

-Steve helling, People Magazine writer and NY Times best-selling author

-And many other celebrities

The celebrations will continue tonight with a free public concert at Full Sail’s main campus, located in Winter Park in the Full Sail Live Venue. This concert will be hosted by singer/songwriter Marc Broussard of Vanguard Records. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with the free concert beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The official Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on tomorrow, Feb 15, at 1:00pm at the main campus. Many celebrity guests will be featured speakers at the celebration of six Full Sail graduates, as well as recognizing past Full Sail inductees and graduates.

The celebrations will end with another free public concert on Saturday, Feb 16, with Universal Republic Records recording artist, Mat Kearney at 8:00p.m. A Nashville-based singer/songwriter, he has released three studio albums under Universal and had four singles reach the Billboard Top 20, including his latest single “Hey Mama” from his third studio album “Young Love”, released in 2011.
