Zombies have continued to encompass an increasing larger part of pop culture ever since Max Brooks released The Zombie Survival Guide in 2003. So, the success of AMC’s The Walking Dead shouldn’t be that surprising. Nor should it be particularly surprising that some theaters have begun screening episodes of the show. Cinemaworld holds free DLP presentations of the Emmy Award winning series every Sunday. The theater screens the previous week’s episode at 8pm immediately followed by the premier of a new episode. Tickets are available at the box office the Wednesday prior to the screening. Tickets are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. While this event technically isn’t local we have a feeling a few of our readers won’t mind the drive.
