Daft Punk is responsible for more rumors than Kim K. and Kanye combined. They’re playing SXSW, they’re playing Coachella, they’re playing Ultra, their album is leaked and all 13 tracks will send you to another Le7el. They are also the winners of every “who do you want to see play our festival” poll. None of these rumors come true, and they will not be playing your festival. To fill the void, we have One More Time, a cover duo touring as Daft Punk, complete with helmets and a pyramid. Will they be able to pull it off? Apparently so. They are packing venues, and according to comments on Facebook, the public seems pleased with the outcome. Since we can’t get the real disco duo in town any time soon, we can thank Disco Donnie and HTG for bringing in the next best thing. – Ed Chapkowski
