Rising Walt Disney World ticket prices, 1971-2013


This week, Walt Disney World announced that the price of a ticket to the Magic Kingdom had risen to $95 – a pretty steep jump, considering the cost of visiting the Magic Kingdom was roughly half that just a decade ago. We put together the chart below to show the rising cost of a single day, general admission adult ticket to Disney’s Magic Kingdom from the park’s opening date in 1971 to the present.
