The Short Stack: Loneliness is Such a Drag

Tulkou Dir: Mo'Sam Runtime: 10m A lonely old fisherman finds a new friend by accident when pulling in his nets. The animation in this short is really incredible, especially for the translucent water homunculous, which distorts everything around it, but also the corrugated cardboard style for the humans is really cool too. Must have taken forever to animate.

Mutt Dir: Nicholas Santos Runtime: 3m (Source: House of Shorts) Roaming alone through a post-apocalyptic backwoods, a girl happens upon a dog and follows him.

I went through a ton of shorts to find something decent and on topic for a third, but couldn't find anything worth posting. So how about a topical Hendrix song instead?
