You may not know Ashley Paul's experimental lilt by name, but to have this talent perform a free show Friday, March 21 at Gallery at Avalon Island, you just had to know the Civic Minded 5 were at least somewhat involved, and it comes as no surprise that this is yet another exciting collaboration between the critically-acclaimed show purveyors and Accidental Music Festival.
The show announcement came late, but you won't want to be late to this party, which starts at 7 p.m. (RSVP now.) I've been playing around on Paul's Soundcloud all afternoon, and the music is presented as crystalline noise that makes your mind wander in lovely ways, evocative and really beautiful, and I doubt many of Orlando's even most adventurous showgoers have experienced sonics of this calibre locally.
