FCAT testing suspended due to technical issues

FCAT testing has been suspended today for some Orange County students. Technical issues with the Pearson testing website prevented Orange County sixth-, seventh- and ninth-graders from taking their reading FCATs this morning. An issue with Pearson's hosting provider caused the technical difficulties, which is also effecting schools in Seminole, Lake, Polk and Pasco counties.  If needed, the testing window, which currently closes on April 28 in Orange County, will be extended.

As of right now, it is unknown if testing will resume tomorrow.
