There was pandemonium at Ocala's Paddock Mall last Thursday when two men escaped the shopping center's Hollister location with 90 pairs of men's underwear stuffed in a large plastic bag. The Hollister manager on duty followed the men to the parking lot where he observed the pair and their pairs (valued at $1,345.50) getting into a Dodge truck. The manager did not confront the thieves, which was probably in accordance with Hollister's employee guidebook concerning such matters.
The suspects are both Asian and believed to be in their mid-thirties. One stands at around 6'2" with short non-spiked hair and was wearing all black during the robbery; the other is closer to 5'10" or 6' with spiked brown hair and was outfitted in a neon green shirt. If you have any information regarding the Paddock Mall Underwear Bandits, please contact the Ocala Police Department at (352) 369-7000 or Crime Stoppers at (352) 368-STOP.
