Val Demings ends her campaign for Orange County Mayor

Earlier today, former Orlando Police Chief Val Demings announced that she would be dropping out of the Orange County mayoral race.

In a statement released by her campaign, Demings said, "I am humbled by and grateful for the support I have received from every corner of our county. After careful analysis I have determined that this is just not the right race at this time."

As of right now, only two other candidates have filed to run against current Mayor Teresa Jacobs: Christopher Barros and Dunel Cadely.
