Each year, I-4 Fest at Austin's Coffee celebrates indie artists in Orlando during a blowout event meant to fill your ears, eyes and stomachs with pride and awe.
This year, you can catch 26 bands on two stages, including some you may have caught in 2013 like Moonmen From Mars, Luscious Lisa, Sterling Schroeder, plus a whole crop of fresh faces including Yogurt Smoothness, Lauren Galant, Happy Valley (who we are stoked to see playing around again), Tam Tam the Sandwich Man, Grizzly Atoms and more. Full lineup here. (Psst, someone may want to merge the two Facebook events, cuz this page seems almost as popular as the original).
Party starts at noon Friday, July 4 at Austin's Coffee. Check out photos from last year's all-day party:
I-4 Fest isn't just about the music, of course. There will also be vegan and non-vegan baked goods to snack on, and inspired art from Lisa Marie Pedraza, Chantel Harding, Ana Jones, Christopher Cunningham, Chelsea Glidden, Cassis Snipper (jewelry), Jason Lake (metal sculpture), Trevor Glass (sculpture), La Lopez (furniture, jewelry, painted items), Kathryn McHenry and Goosehands Crafters & Beans (tarot reading).
It's $5 to get in, and everybody drinks for free when Moonmen From Mars hits the stage? (We can only assume this is because all lifeforms from all planets love them some 'Merica.)
