Just what Orlando needs: another “art” show. This one is themed around the idea of sarcasm. You know, the “lowest form of wit,” according to Oscar Wilde.
The show, featuring art from Boy Kong, Pam Treadwell, Scott Donald, Wolfrich and others, aims to take tongue-in-cheek shots at political targets, because that’s never been done before. “Comedian” Ross Martin is offering up “history lessons,” which probably means a bunch of jokes about Abe Lincoln’s hat or dick or whatever. If you get bored looking at all the oh-so-clever shit on the walls, Spacebar has beer and pinball to keep you occupied. /sarcasm
