The first rule of Underground Supper Club is you talk about Underground Supper Club. The second rule of Underground Supper Club is you talk about Underground Supper Club some more to make people insanely jealous.
Organized by A Taste of Happiness, a local foundation committed to creating positive change in the community by having food-related fundraisers, the August Summer Eats event is scheduled for Aug. 19 and 20 at a secret location. Once you pony up the $80 for this special event, you'll be told where to go to chow down on 10 to 15 (!) gourmet courses.
A lot of thought goes into the preparation of the menu. The chefs first look at what local ingredients will be in-season, then order the courses from mild to heavy, with each course designed to complement or contrast with the previous and subsequent courses.
There will be two seatings for this special dinner, but get your tickets early, as there will only be 20 seats available for each seating.
