We know they're a little played out, but a well-executed flash mob still gives us chills. This weekend, as part of a publicity push for their season opener, Les Misérablesthe Orlando Shakes staged a chill-inducing flash mob smack in the middle of the Mall at Millenia.

The lead actor of the production, Michael Hunsaker, led off the plainclothes performance of "One Day More," stopping Saturday shoppers in their tracks. He was quickly joined by other cast members, whose voices swelled to fill the mall's rotunda with a glorious preview of what to expect in the Shakes production of Les Miz.

The flash mob made an appearance on The Today Show on Monday. If you missed it, you can watch it here:

Catch the cast in all their (costumed) glory, when the Shakes presents Victor Hugo's famous work on stage beginning Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Think you can do better than the Orlando Shakes? You've got until Dec. 5 to enter a Dickens-style flash mob video into the "What the Dickens?" contest.
