Look for local food blogger Ricky Ly of Tasty Chomps (and his wife!) on your TV screen this week. ABC's The Chew spoke to the couple about Epcot's Food and Wine Festival for an episode that will air 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9. During the segment, the show's crew followed the couple around Epcot, where they discussed their favorite things about the annual festival. They also attended the brand-new-this-year chocolate boot camp.
Ly is an excellent ambassador for the Orlando food scene. He's the author of the Food Lover's Guide to Orlando, represented Orlando at the Chowzter Tastiest Fast Feasts in the World Awards earlier this year and has one of the best foodie Instagrams in the City Beautiful. Seriously, follow him. It'll make you hungry. He also helped us find the best banh mi in Orlando back in 2010. Without a doubt, this guy knows Orlando food.
The Chew is broadcast from New York City every weekday and features chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon and Carla Hall, plus Clinton Kelly of What Not to Wear fame and Daphne Oz, a healthy living expert. And at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 on WTFV Channel 9? Our very own Ricky Ly, of Tasty Chomps.
