SNL comedian Jay Pharoah comes to Orlando Improv

8 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Saturday | Orlando Improv, 9101 International Drive | 407-480-5233 | | $20, 21 and up

While the women of Saturday Night Live (Aidy Bryant, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, et al) have been tearing it up lately, one of the only highlights from the guys seems to be impressionist Jay Pharoah. From Barack Obama to Christopher Walken, Pharoah’s impressions are unnervingly spot-on. After only four years in the cast, Pharoah has joined the ranks of the show’s best impressionists, alongside former cast member and current announcer Darrell Hammond. This weekend SNL takes a break, so you get the chance to see Pharoah do his rapid-fire mimicry in person down at the Orlando Improv. Expect to hear the voices of Denzel Washington, Chris Rock, Gollum and a slew of other characters – if you can hear anything over all the laughter, of course. – Thaddeus McCollum
