Although billed as a “nontraditional performance for the Orlando Ballet,” we’re going to go out on a limb and say four years of the same show is bordering on tradition, m’kay? Artistic Director Robert Hill’s hammy Halloween show showcases some of the best dancing talent in the country, but in a more fun, contemporary light. Zombies and vamps bound across the stage to Adele and Michael Jackson tracks but still manage to seem professional and spell-bindingly gorgeous, especially the über-watchable Daniel Benavides as the titular neck-biter. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we could watch the Orlando Ballet dancers in anything, but combining their epic talents with our favorite holiday is a recipe for

greatness. – Brendan O'Connor
