It lasted: for as long as you can handle the truth
The cool, calm vibe of Lil Indies gets delightfully disrupted every week when musician Eugene Snowden hosts Ten Pints of Truth. The Legendary JC’s energetic frontman is as rambunctious as ever in this intimate setting with his talented (and ever-patient) band, which features the shamefully undersung Katie Burkess, Justin Kangrga and Pascal Sacleux. As barflies shuffle in and out of Indies, they risk becoming part of Snowden’s splendidly drunk ruckus, as the singer isn’t afraid to start a conversation mid-song, spin a passerby in a quick dance or call out anybody who dares disturb the scene more than he already is. Snowden tells it as he sees it, and his vision becomes increasingly impaired as the night drags on and the drinks keep coming. As one of our city’s most memorable singers, Snowden captivates audiences with soulful reverie. Wise up, drink up and watch as Snowden blows up the small neighborhood bar every week.
