Opt to adopt: 19 lovable pups looking for homes at Orange County Animal Services To celebrate Veterans Day, Orange County Animal Services is waiving all adoptions fees for military families Tuesday, Nov. 11. To take advantage of the promotion, there are just a few simple steps: 1) Fall in love with your new family member waiting for you at the shelter; 2) Complete all necessary adoption paperwork; 3) Present a copy of your active military ID or DD Form 214 with honorable discharge. Boom! New four-legged best friend. Not a veteran? Throughout the entire month of November, Orange County Animal Services is offering waived adoption fees on all dogs six years or older to celebrate National Senior Pet Month. There are some pretty sweet ones up for adoptions right now too, just take a look at our last few adoptable pet galleries.

Each adopted pet will already be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and ready to love. OCAS, located at 2769 Conroy Road, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends.
