Saturday night, Lake Virginia and Lake Osceola are aglow with holiday cheer and twinkling lights. This fun, family-friendly event features a parade of festively decorated boats along the shorelines of the aforementioned bodies of water in a celebration of Winter Park’s infamous 1 percent and all of their toys. Catch the water ski show, featuring professional jumpers, wakeboarders and the like, from the fabulous man-made beach at Rollins College (because they totally have a Water Ski Club and a fancy jump on Lake Virginia). Then hop over to the Polasek, which is hosting the official viewing station and judging stand in their lovely garden, and enjoy some live music, art activities, face-painting and pictures with Santa.

3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, Water Ski Show at Rollins College; 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, Boat Parade | Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens, 633 Osceola Ave., Winter Park | 407-647-6294 | polasek.org | free
