Expectations any time Junior Bruce plays mount as fast as the stoner metal band’s onslaught of ear-pummeling goodness, and it’s been a while since we last got a listen. But now, not only are they prom- ising to shred through new material (and all the songs they heavy-handedly deal whenever they stop through), but they’re also performing with a thrashy lineup that includes Virginia’s Occultist, Chicago’s Krang and Gainesville’s Hot Graves. Steady your twitchy Ticketfly finger, though, since rumor has it the first 25 people who pay at the door will get a free beer.

JUNIOR BRUCE with Occultist, Krang, Hot Graves | 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 | Will’s Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave. | willspub.org | $8-$10
