It looks like the folks at Neatherrealm Studios have been hard at work on the next Mortal Kombat game, and it's lookin' pretty sweet! Mortal Kombat X is hoping to change up the game on the old roster of fighters, replacing many old favorites with brand-new blood to kick ass and take names.

The newest trailer release today features a brand-new story featuring the offspring of Johnny Cage, Jax, and fan favorite Blind Kenshi. By the looks of things, a talisman is causing all kinds of trouble in the realms and it's up to the children of legends to save the day. If the story mode of the last Mortal Kombat game or Injustice: Gods Among Us is any indication, look forward to a beefy campaign and plenty of unlockables.

Mortal Kombat X releases on March 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and all last generations consoles. Gear up and get ready for a new generation of Fatalities!
