While most of the attention surrounding I-Drive 360 has been on the massive Orlando Eye observation wheel (the largest observation wheel on the East Coast), the newest attraction complex coming to International Drive will also feature three other diversions. Skeletons, a museum of, well, skeletons; Madam Tussauds, a wax museum; and Sea Life aquarium will all offer guests another distraction while at I-Drive 360.

The aquarium, part of the Merlin line-up of attractions at the complex, looks like it’s going to offer guests some incredible tanks when it opens. With more than 30 different aquatic displays, it's estimated that the attraction will take guests around two to three hours to fully visit.

The main focus of the space is on one large central tank featuring an Atlantic Ocean habitat. It holds more than 192,000 gallons of water and features an impressive 360-degree walk-through tunnel. According to Sea Life's Facebook page, it will look like this when it's finished:

Prep is still to be done on Sea Life, but last week the hose was finally turned to begin filling up the new tanks. The central tank took well over 48 hours to fill. It, along with the majority of the other tanks, are now going through chemical testing to ensure that they’re ready for the sea life that will be brought in over the next two months. Altogether more than 5,000 sea creatures will be featured, and at least four different species of sharks will call the attraction home (no Florida mermaids, though, sorry).

Sea Life will open along with the other Merlin attractions at I-Drive 360, the Orlando Eye and Madam Tussauds, on May 4. Skeletons, which is owned by a different company, plans to open a week earlier. Ticket options for Sea Life range from an aquarium-only ticket for $18, all the way up to an $89 ticket that includes admission to all three Merlin I-Drive 360 attractions and the Merlin-owned Legoland Florida in Winter Haven.

Sadly none of the attractions will be open in time for the Vanilla Ice and Coolio show that’s happening at I-Drive 360 on Saturday, March 7.
