Mississippi’s own “King Remembered In Time,” Big K.R.I.T., brings his Pay Attention tour to Venue 578 (formerly Firestone Live). Come check out your “country cousin” at just one of four Florida stops on his southeastern tour, where he’s likely to be performing many tracks from his well-received 2014 album, Cadillactica. A true embodiment of modern Southern hip-hop, K.R.I.T. adds a contrast to the typical hardcore and dance music Southern rap often produces, bringing soulfulness to the table alongside conscious lyricism for an often empowering vibe.

BIG K.R.I.T. with Phraydoe Peans & the Family Gang 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14 | Venue 578, 578 N. Orange Ave. | venue578.com | 407-872–0066 | $20
