The Dwarves are one of the most outrageous bands that ever existed, period. Between the guitarist death hoax in 1993 that got them booted from Sub Pop and their website allegedly being hacked by jihadists just last month as reported on Noisey, it’s not always easy telling where the line between truth and mischief lies with these blood-soaked porn punks. But that’s the whole point of it, and when it comes to tasteless humor as an art form, these West Coast provocateurs are hall-of-famers. Between that and the fact that the Dwarves only average about two Orlando appearances per decade, this show – the only Florida date for both them and co-headliner the Queers – is a must-see. Stacking the bill even further is Richie Ramone, Oakland garage-punks the Atom Age and local pop-punks Caffiends.

THE DWARVES with the Queers, Richie Ramone and the Atom Age | 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21 | Backbooth, 37 W. Pine St. | 407-999-2570 | backbooth.com | $20
