This Friday, May 1, is Bike to Work Day in Orlando. Mayor Buddy Dyer leads commuters on a community bike ride from Loch Haven Park to City Hall at 8 a.m. If you want to join in the fun but don't have a bike, Juice Orlando Bike Share is offering free rides on their orange bikes that you may have seen peppered throughout downtown. Juice is also announcing that they will be expanding their bike share program from 20 bikes located at four stations to 200 bikes at 20 stations throughout downtown, Thornton Park and College Park. This should make life a lot easier for commuters dedicated to ditching I-4 in favor of alternative modes of transportation.

Though Juice is offering up free bike rides for Bike to Work Day, you do have to register at this site to reserve a bike. You may also want to check out their price points on their site if you plan on using them in the future. Though their monthly price of $30 may seem a little steep, you can save a ton if you sign up for either annual package: $79 a year for 60 minutes of biking per day or $99 a year for two hours a day.
