If your gyro is looking a little lonesome? Be your gyro’s hero (see what we did there?) and pair it up with the new Greek mac & cheese side dish at Mediterranean Blue on Michigan Street at Osceola Avenue, now available on Thursdays.

Partaking in the creamy, single-serving elbow macaroni with béchamel sauce and three kinds of creamy Greek cheese will require a little strategic planning for your lunch hour, since, for now anyway, it’s only available one day a week. But, considering there was only one serving left by the time we arrived, it’s quite a hit.

If they’re out, might we suggest the Greek-seasoned fries, a cup of avgolemono soup or one of the fresh salads from the deli case? We’re suckers for that black-eyed-pea salad.
