Orange County Commission reduces trash pickup to once a week

Guess that smelly takeout you ordered Monday is going to languish in your trash can for a little bit longer.  

The Orlando Political Observer says Orange County commissioners voted Tuesday morning to cut trash removal services to once a week to try to "reduce costs and encourage sustainability." 



The new removal system now includes one trash pickup, one yard-waste pickup and one recycling pickup.
