It’s OK to feel conflicted about the restructured Gang of Four that released this year’s What Happens Next on the back of guitarist Andy Gill, the only remaining original member still in the lineup. We have no idea how our favorite post-punk lashings from Entertainment! will translate live under this new crew, since original vocalist Jon King’s fierce delivery factors hugely into the band’s legendary appeal. But any invested fan cannot deny the mega-influential guitarist remains a huge draw, even if the new record made you shrug instead of shoulder into the shred.

Gang of Four with the New Regime | 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27 | The Social, 54 N. Orange Ave. | 407-246-1419 | thesocial.org | $25
