Burn off those Thanksgiving calories at the Seniors First Turkey Trot 5k.

Let's be honest: It's Thanksgiving, so you're probably going to eat too much. You may as well get some exercise to assuage your inexorable turkey-flavored guilt.

Proceeds from the race benefits Seniors First, a nonprofit organization that provides services like Meals On Wheels to senior citizens in need.

The 5k begins Nov. 26 at 8 a.m. at Lake Eola. It will be preceded by a costume contest at 7:00 a.m. and a Turkey Call contest at 7:45 a.m. Kids will have a chance to participate in a Tot Trot at 9:15 a.m.

Registration costs $35 at the race and $30 online.
