Richard Reep sculpture show ‘Dreams of Escape’ at Stardust through Jan. 31


We can't actually review our writer Richard Reep's new art show at Stardust (logrolling), but we'd be remiss in not letting you know it's hanging, because it is worth a long look. 

Reep created these sculptures from urban scrap material and other found and salvaged items, and named the show Dreams of Escape. The spirit of flight is strongly evident – both physical flight, in all the wings and jet engines, and flight as in change and renewal.

It's a welcome change to see sculpture in Stardust's Doubleleg Gallery, proving that if you have the right tools, you can install just about anything on those concrete walls.
