New buns, new burgers and new brunch: the latest Orlando restaurant openings and events


King Bao, which we can only hope is a gustatory shrine to our very own Bao Le-Huu, will move into the former Raphsodic Bakery space on Mills Ave. They will also serve steamed buns.

Plancha Restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort will serve Sunday brunch beginning March 13.

Jamaica will represent at this year's Epcot Flower & Garden Festival with an Outdoor Kitchen ("La Isla Fresca") featuring braised beef with pigeon-pea rice, jerk-spiced grouper, and chicken with mango salsa. The festival takes place March 2-May 30.

The newly renovated Melting Pot in Dr. Phillips will reopen March 10.
